Do you want to try or improve your night Nav skills? Note Saturday is a 3pm start
Do you want to tackle some more difficult " high pointers" or aim for a larger number of low and median pointers?

Paddy's Ranges close to Maryborough. Paddy's Ranges is gently undulating open forest.
The vegetation is generally open, the hills are not steep, and there is a network of seldom used vehicle tracks criss-crossing the map. These features make the event ideal for those who don’t like steep hills and/or thick undergrowth, or who want to try night navigation (on the Saturday event).
Paddy was an Irish miner who reputedly disappeared in this area in the late 1800s. On the course you will encounter many mining relics, such as the remains of a puddling wheel, water races, mullock heaps and deep mine shafts, so be careful. Fortunately, most mine shafts are accompanied by a mullock heap, but this is not always the case.
The area is generally undulating box-ironbark forest. The predominant trees are red ironbarks and grey box. The most common plants in the understorey are golden and hedge wattles, fringe myrtle, holly and cat’s claw grevilleas and peas, although you are unlikely to see any flowers at this time of year.
The area has several small dams, but the water is not drinkable.
This is a 2 x 6hr Rogaine. Do which ever day suits you best. NOTE the Saturday is a 3pm start.
The Hash House is located centrally and camping is available. Alternative accommodation is available at Maryborough.
The map will be 1:25000 scale with 10 metre contours, printed on A3 non waterproof paper.
